Jensen NY Forum Set

 
 
 


This tut was written for those with a basic knowledge of psp.

Supplies Needed
I used PSPX...but any of them should work.
Scrap by Disturbed Scraps-Happy Holidays  HERE
PhotoEffex-Scanlines
Xero Filter-Porcelain
Font Twilight New Moon 
Drop Shadow usually V2 H2 50 5
Let's get started

*Remember to add your Drop Shadow as you go along*

Open a new image 600 x 250
Fill with a gradient of choice, I used the Metallic Silver that comes with PSP.
Paste paper #2, crop, then go to Adjust, blur, radial blur
with these settings
twirl checked, strength 50, twirl degree 10, Ellipitical checked
horizontal and vertical at 0
protect center at 10, 
 Change the blend mode to Luminance (L) then merge down.
Apply the PhotoEffex filter-Scanlines
width set at 2 and the noise amount at 50%.

Copy and paste your tube in the center, change the blend mode to Luminacne (L)

Duplicate your tube and move to one side and up so the hat does not show on this one, change the blend mode to Luminance (L) and lower the opacity to around 25 or what you like the looks of.
Apply the Xero filter-Porcelain, duplicate and mirror to the other side.
Resize element # 16 to 70% and move below the tubes layers move to the top and sharpen twice.

Copy and paste element #019 the tree and place behind the tube and move to one side or the other a bit, duplicate and
move to the other side a bit and merge down.

Resize element #44 to 50% and place on the right side, change the blend mode to Luminance (L).

Resize element #51 to 75% and place on the left side and change the blend mode to Luminance (L) and sharpen twice.

Paste element #15 and place on the left side, duplicate and mirror.
Take your Selection tool, draw out a small rectangle on the left side, new raster layer, fill with white, change the blend mode to soft light and lower the opacity to about 85.
Add your name and free rotate to the left 90.
Merge visible, and apply the AAA Frames-Foto Frame width at 5 and all else at default.
Add your copyright now.

For Avator
Open a new image 150 x 150, copy and paste
your finished tag, resize to 80% and adjust how you want it.
Merge visible and apply the AAA Frames-Foto Frame, width at 4 and all else at default.
Add your name and copyright and you are all done.

Jingle all the Way

Let's get started

*Remember to add your Drop Shadow as you go along*
Open your template, duplicate and close the original.
Delete the credits

Move the wordart down to the bottom part.
Then Image, canvas size 800 x 800 or whatever you are use to doing for size.
Copy and paste your closeup tube and resize to 85% if using the same one I am using. Apply WSL_Mask 84, delete and merge group. Apply the Xero Filter-Porcelain first and then Mistifier twice. Lower the opacity to around 85 or so.

Select raster 5 and copy of raster 5 of template, resize paper#9 to 20% and paste, invert and delete.
Select the merged small gray squares and resize paper #7 to 20% and paste, invert and delete.
Select the merged gray rectangles and paste paper #7, invert and delete.
Select raster 2 rectangle and paste paper #9, invert and delete. Adjust so the snowflakes show some.
On the merged frames and the bars, apply EyeCandy4000-Chrome, then take your Change to target brush and color them with a gold gradient.
On your wordart background with the noise, color that also with your gold gradient. Then the wordart itself, add a slight bevel and recolor with a red gradient. I used the Multi-Red that came with my psp.
Resize element #49 to 45% and place on top of all the template layers.
Resize cluster #6 to 23% and place behind the wordart, duplicate and mirror.
Resize element #12 the bell to 10%,  duplicate several times and place in different areas.
Resize your tube if needed and copy and paste and place into position.
Resize cluster #12 to 18% and place on the right side of your tag.
Resize element #23 to 15% and place at the upper left behind the small square, duplicate, flip, duplicate mirror and make any adjustment for placement.
Select one of the greenery and resize to 10% and place on the bottom layer above your mask layer and duplicate a few times and place where you like a little green to show.
Add any other elements that you would like and once happy with everything, close off any background you used and merge visible.
Resize your tag now and add your copyright and name and you are done

New Year Forum Set

Supplies Needed

Let's get started

*Remember to add your Drop Shadow as you go along*

Open a new image 600 x 250
Copy and paste paper #4, then take your crop tool and crop to size.
Resize party clock #3 to 53% and place in center, duplicate twice and move one to the left and one to the right, move both of these below the first frame and erase the part that is showing in the center frame. Merge the 2 outside frames together, then take your free hand selection tool and draw around each outside frame and paste the glitter paper #2, invert and delete.
Copy and paste your tube, resize if needed, I used the half size and resized it to 65%, move below the frame, duplicate and move to top of frame and erase all excess, and sharpen.
Take your magic wand, click inside the center frame, expand by 5, fill with a silver gradient or a color of choice, select none.
Cope and paste the silver streamer, move below all the frames, duplicate and mirror and place in the center of the tag.
Resize the wine glass to 80% and place on each side of the frame.
Resize the lock and key to 50% and place on the glass stem and erase the clasp on top, change the blend mode to Luminance (L), duplicate and mirror.
Being on your paper layer, apply the AAA Foto Frame with the width set to 5 and all other numbers at default.

If you are going to animate, add your copyright and name now.

Then click on the glitter layer, apply dsb flux, bubbles
with these settings
65, 25, 50, 50
take merge to animation shop, come back to psp and undo the bubbles, then change the first number to 67 and apply again, take to animation shop, paste after the current frame.
Come back to psp one more time, undo the bubbles, then apply again with the first number at 69, take to animation and paste after current frame, then select all and change the frame properties to 20.
Test your animation and if happy with it save.

For the Avator
Open a 150 x 150 new image
Copy and paste your tag you just made, resize to 75% and place how you like it, merge visible.
Add the AAA Foto Frame with the width on 5.
Add your copyright and name or initial and you are done.

Happy New Year 2013

Supplies Needed

Scrap Happy New Year HERE
Xero Filter- Soft Mood, Clarity and Mistifier (Optional)
EyeCandy4000-Chrome and Glass
Font Simply Glamorous 
Drop Shadow usually V2 H2 50 5
Let's get started

*Remember to add your Drop Shadow as you go along*
Open your template, duplicate and close the original.
Delete the credit layer and the lights.

Move the wordart down to the bottom part.

Go to Image, canvas size and change to 800 x 800.
Paste paper #5 and apply your mask, delete and merge group.
Resize the disco ball to 75% and paste.

Raster 2 and copy of raster 2 layers, select all, float, defloat and paste paper #8, invert and delete. 
Take your magic wand and click on each of the light color stripes and add noise at 50%. 
Paste paper #7 on the merged layer, invert and delete.
Paste paper #1 on raster 4 layer of the temp.
Raster 3, the black frame, apply EyeCandy4000-Glass at default setting and add noise at 100%.
Raster 6, select all, new raster layer and fill with black,
do not deselect yet, add your closeup and position, then hit the delete key on your keyboard.
Apply Xero Filter-Soft Mood first, then Mistifier and then Clarity.

Select raster 8, resize your tube some and paste, invert and delete. Change the blend mode to Luminance (L) and apply Xero Filter-Mistifier.

Apply EyeCandy4000-Chrome to the 3 frames, then color them to match your tube.

Raster 7, paste paper #3, invert and delete.

Resize your tube if needed and paste, move below the wordart. Duplicate, gaussian blur at 5, change the blend mode to hard light, merge down.
Apply the Xero Filter-Clarity.

Resize the noise maker to 40%, mirror and move to the left, below the wordart.
Resize the champagne bucket to 50% and place on the right side below the wordart. Resize the glass to 40%, duplicate and place by the bucket.
Take your magic wand, click on each of the letters of the wordart, add a new raster layer and fill with a gold gradient or one of your choice, apply a small bevel effect to it.
Resize the shooting star to 25% and place in the center frame, duplicate and mirror. Duplicate a couple more times and place where you like.
Resize fireworks #2 to 90% and place just above your background layer, duplicate and place again. Resize the rockets to 50% and duplicate and place to your liking.
Paste the berrybush and move to the bottom layer, just above your background layer and place on one side, then duplicate and mirror and move down on the other side, erase the parts that you do not want showing.
Resize the beadedrope to 50% and place where you like it.
Add any other elements that you would like.

Once happy with it all, merge visible and resize your tag.
Add your copyrights and name and that's it.

I Wish I was Santa

Supplies Needed

Xero Filter- Radiance and Mistifier (Optional)
EyeCandy4000-Chrome and Glass
Font Scripto Pro 
Drop Shadow usually V2 H2 50 5
Let's get started

*Remember to add your Drop Shadow as you go along*

Open your template, duplicate and close the original.
You will be doing the select, float, defloat, invert and delete on each of your layers on the template.
Delete the credits and the small green star.

On both the left and right rounded rectangle, paste paper #16, invert and delete.
On the left rounded rectangle, paste one of your closeup and delete the excess, and change the blend mode to overlay or one you prefer. Apply the Xero filter-Clarity.

On both the Huge Grey stars, paste paper #9 and adjust so the snowflakes are showing, then delete.
Apply EyeCandy4000-Chrome to the Star Borders and then apply noise at 50%.
Select the black circle, paste paper #9, invert and delete. Do not deselect yet, paste your closeup, then hit the delete key on your keyboard, select none. Apply the Xero filter-Radiance first and then Mistifier, twice.

Apply EyeCandy4000-Chrome to the big star and adjust, Hue and Saturation, colorize with both numbers set on 255.

On the wordart, I applied EyeCandy4000-Glass at default setting and use the color white.
Paste your tube and move to the right and have the leg part behind the bottom wordart.
Resize element #49 to 50% and place over your closeup layer
Resize cluster elements #6 and #8 to 23%, place #8 below the tube layer and #6 below the Hugh Grey Star layer and adjust to your liking.
Resize element #85 to 5% and place on the left side duplicate and mirror and move back to the left side.

Resize element #90 to 20%, move to bottom layer and up to the left, duplicate, mirror, duplicate, flip, duplicate mirror.

Resize element #26 to 15% and place on the left, erase some of the hanger at the top.

Resize some of the greenery to 15% and duplicate a couple of times and move to the bottom layer and place where you like them.
Place any other elements that you would like.
Once happy, close off any backgrounds used and merge visible.
Resize and add your copyright and name and that's it

Candy Cane Girl

Supplies Needed

*Remember to add your Drop Shadow as you go along*
Open a new image 800 x 800, can resize later.

Resize paper #3 and apply Monti's Blind mask.

Take element #18, the snowflake, resize to 20% and apply Mura Meister Filter-Copies, select Encircle and change the top number to 20. Once you have your frame paste, then take your pick tool and bring in the sides of the snowflake circle to fit your frame better, then duplicate, flip and erase the overlapping parts.

Copy and paste Cluster frame #2, resize to 85%.
Take your magic wand and click inside all frames, expand by 15, resize and paste paper #3, invert and delete. Do not deselect yet, paste your closeup, hit the delete key and deselect now.

Apply VM Extravaganza-Transmission to the paper with these settings
20, 0, 10

Apply the Xero Filter-Mistifier to the closeup.
Resize element #17 to 35%, free rotate to the right 15%, and place in the small frame on the right, move below the frame, duplicate and mirror.
Paste element #20 and #21, move to the bottom and below the paper layer.
Copy and paste your tube and place on the left side of the frame, resize if needed.

Resize element #20 to 20% and free rotate to the right 90 and place behind the wordart, Merry Christmas on frame and move out some.
Resize elements #14 and 15 to 20% and place how you like them.
Resize element #27 to 85% and move down to just above the snowflake circle you made.
Once happy with it all, close off any background you used and merge visible. I add the sparkle #3 on top, then I applied the Xero Filter-Clarity to the whole tag.
Resize now and add your copyrights and name and that's it
