Pink Jolly Christmas FTU

This tut was written for those with a basic knowledge of psp.

I am using the awesome artwork of Keith Garvey. You need a license to use this art work. Please do not use without a license. My license was when he was at MPT but they have closed now.

Supplies Needed

I used PSPX...but any of them should work.

EyeCandy 5 Impact-Chrome

Drop shadow is usually 2V 2H 50 5 Depending on where you want your shadow sometimes you might have to do the minus on them.

Ok Let's get started

Open the template and shift D to duplicate and close the orginial one.  Copy and paste paper #9 and apply WSL mask 84, delete and merge group, move below template.   On the Black circle and white circle we will be using paper #7, or paper of your choice. On each do the select all, float, defloat, copy and paste, then invert and delete. Delete both parts of the template now also. The red rectangle, select, float, defloat, add a new raster layer and select a dark and light color from your tube and make a gradient, with angle 45, repeat 7, flood fill and now apply Photo Effex-scanlines, delete that layer of the temp.  On each one of theses I added a medium gradient glow with the color then the white and then added a drop shadow.
Now on both green squares, select, float, defloat, copy and paste paper #4 or one of your choice, invert and delete. Do Not deselect yet, copy and paste your close up on one and delete the excess. Mirror your close up and copy into the other green square and delete excess. Apply xero porcelain twice, then mistifier to both, both filters on default settings.  Copy and paste your tube and mirror and position into place behind the wordart, refer to my tag.  Copy and paste the pink tree and place to the left just behind the feet of the tube, add your drop shadow.  Element E-15 resize 50% and place to the right on the template behind your tube and erase the cord on it, add your drop shadow. On the grey frames I used EyeCandy 5 Impact-Chrome and recolored it with the change to target brush with my gradient from before. On the red Christmas wordart, select all, float, defloat, add a new raster layer, flood fill with a color from your tube, select none and delete the red wordart.  Add your drop shadow to the white wordart background.  On the 2 black wordart, I added the medium gradient glow to them and added the drop shadow.  Take Element E-132 and resize 50% and place behind your tube toward the bottom a bit and behind the tree also, add your drop shadow. Close off any backgrounds you might have and merge all visible and resize before you add your copyright.
Now add your copyright and name and you are done.

Ok Let's get started

Open a 700 X 700 image and copy and paste paper 1 and add WSL Mask 84, delete and merge group.

 Copy and paste frame 4, resize frame 55%, click inside with your magic wand, expand by 2 and copy and paste paper of choice, I used #5, invert delete, move below your frame. Resize scarecrow to 35% and place to the left a bit inside frame. Resize Ivy4 to 55%, paste above the frame toward the bottom, duplicate, mirror, merge down and add your drop shadow. Copy your tube and resize if needed and place on top of the ivy. Resize the wagon 55% and place to the left behind your tube, add your drop shadow.

Resize the 3 pumpkins to 15% and place to the right behind your tube and position to your liking, add your drop shadow. Take the 3 tall grasses and resize to 25% and place in different placed behind the wagon and pumpkins....Take ivy 1 and resize 25%, free rotate 45% to the right and place on left side of frame, duplicate and mirror and position on the right side of frame.

To write out your saying go to your preset shape, eclipse with background null, line width about 2 and draw a circle around your frame where you want your wordart to go. Then click on your text button and add a new raster layer and hold your mouse over the line until you see an a with a curve under it, then type out what you want yours to say, convert to raster and then delete the circle part. Now resize all and add your copyright and name.

Ok now if you want to add the animation you will have to do this in 2 parts, at least this is how I do it...I have had these leaves a very long time and do not know who they belong to, if they are yours let me know and will give credits to you. You can probably do a search for some animated leaves that are free to use.

First close off all but these and then merge your white background, mask, scarecrow and paper behind frame. Close this off and then merge your other layers, you should now have just 2 layers. Ok take your background layers to animation shop and duplicate 20 times, that is what my leaves animate frames were. Then edit select all copy, go to tag and edit, select all  paste into selected frame, do this several times until you like the looks of it..now go back and close off your background part and open the tube, frame etc part and copy and paste into animation and make 20 frames of this one, then edit copy and on tag edit paste into selected frame.

Cowgirl's Life FTU

Supplies Needed

I used PSPX...but any of them should work.

Ok Let's get started

Open a 700 x 700 image, can alway resize later. 

Open the frame with the gold and resize it to 30%, copy and paste, then  go back and undo resize on original frame, now resize to 35% and paste on top of the other frame,  merge down. Take your magic wand click inside, go to selections, expand and expand by 2, add a new raster layer and fill with a color of choice, I used #86441f, move below your frame,  copy and paste your image of choice, I used one from sxc.hu, then invert and delete, select none.

Duplicate your image now, on the original add xero radiance and porcelain and change the blend mode to luminance (L). Go to the top image and change the blend mode to overlay. Apply xero porcelain to that one twice, then merge down and apply mistifier. All at default settings. Resize the branch to 25% place on frame and duplicate mirror and adjust...merge the 2 branches, add your drop shadow.

Resize the barrel to 15% place to the left on frame duplicate and adjust to your liking. Duplicate again to 85% and move to the right, resize the water bucket to 15% and place to the left of the barrel a bit...refer to my tag for placement....Resize the denim jacket to 25% and put it in the right hand corner like it is hanging on the frame. Resize the wheel to 15% place above the barrel but below the water bucket...resize the keyring and hang above the jacket but erase some of the loop to make it look like it is hanging over it also. Resize cactus to 25% and place one behind the jacket and barrel on the right and then duplicate mirror and place behind the barrels on the left...remember to add your drop shadows as you go along. Add your tube and place above the barrels on the left and add your drop shadow.  Resize your lasso rope and place on bottom layer and mirror and place just at your tubes feet....duplicate flip and mirror. You might decide to add more elements, let your creativity flow....

Word art I used I resize to 15%, then added baked earth xenofex1.0, this is optional. Added a gradient glow, medium with color #732f0e, add your name and do the same as you did with the wordart...Now close off your white background if you had one and merge visible....resize....I resize to 80% and then sharpen...now add your copyright info.
